Sterling Silver St Isidore Medal Necklace Oxidized finish Oval 1.8mm Chain

This St. Isidore Medallion is Solid 925 Sterling Silver and Oxidized Finished to Highlight the Details. On the Front has the depiction of St. Isidore as a Day Laborer in a Farm and embossed with the words 'pray for us' at the back. It comes with an 18 inch Sterling Silver 1.8 mm Curb Chain. St. Isidore is widely venerated as the patron saint of peasants and day laborers as he had been one himself. In 1947 at the request of the National Catholic Rural Life Conference he was officially named patron of farmers with a feast day on March 22 in all dioceses of the United States with a proper Mass and Office.
